SSH Genesse ("Genny") came to us in summer of 2021. She is a feminine female with ample rib volume that is necessary in a good baby-making cow. She is square on her feet like what was necessary in the rough highland terrains. While she is not a big brute powerhouse, she is close to the ideal highland cow with an excellent pedigree to support her. She comes from Selby's farm, a farm known for having an eye for good cattle. Because we call her Genny, she is our "Forest Gump Line" producing QSH Forest and QSH Bubba here on the acreage.

On her dam's side: Dam is Selby's Emmaline (52,649) making Genesse the older half sister to HHH  Golden Kanyon who took reserve champion in his class at 2023 National Western Stock Show. The winner of that class went on to take Overall Reserve Champion Bull. Dam's side also sports genetics from LiTerra and Australian bull Samhach Buidhe of Bairnsley.

On her sire's side:  Sire is Selby's Jude (55,032) who incorporate genetics from well respected LEA and Skye High farms.
